October 11 - Prayer Walk

Prayer Walk

Saturday, October 11 @ 8:30 AM

Let's step out in faith—together. We invite you to join us for a Prayer Walk as we cover our neighborhoods, schools, and local leaders in prayer. In this simple but powerful act of faith, we will walk and pray for God's peace, protection, and presence in our communities.

Whether you walk a few blocks or stand in prayer with us, your presence makes a difference. Let's be the light in our streets and the love in our city.

Coffee and light refreshments will be served at the church at 8:30 AM. We'll have a quick devotional and prayer before we break out and go into our neighborhoods. Come ready to walk, boldly pray, and believe that God is doing a good thing in our city and in the hearts of our neighbors.

Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you... Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.

Prayer Requests

We would love the opportunity to pray for you and with you. If you have a prayer request, praise report, or a needplease let us know so we can personally and faithfully be praying for you.

Volunteer/Serving Opportunities

We are so thankful for the vibrant and growing church family God has blessed us with!

As Pastor Terence leads us through this new series on Spiritual Gifts, our prayer is that each of us would reflect on how we can love and serve this church with the unique gifts God has given us.

There is a place for everyone to get involved—and we want to help you find where you can thrive! Whether you're drawn to serve in an area that aligns with your spiritual gifts or simply in a way that brings you joy, we encourage you to take the next step.

Please fill out a Connect Card or reach out to any of our ministry leaders or staff to explore how you can get involved. And if you feel called to lead or serve in a way that isn't currently offered, we want to hear from you!

We're open and excited about all the ways God may be leading us to serve one another—and our broader community—together.

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

Google/Facebook Review

As we are actively trying to reach and invite new friends and family members in need of a Gospel centered church, we are asking for everyone to take a few moments to give NorthStar a 5-Star Google or Facebook (or both) review so that we may be more visible to those who might be searching for a church home, or for those who are searching for something deeper in a relationship with Christ.

What do you love about our church? Why would others want to visit? What brought you here? Share, share! (Thank you!)

Book of the Month

Every month Pastor Terence will recommend a book of suggested reading for that month.
