Look Around and Give

Donations Accepted through December 14

NorthStar will be extending collections for our local missions towards Twinsburg Food Pantry as this season has been tough for many. Please consider donating what you are able for those in great need. There is a list of the most needed food items in the lobby, and linked here as well.

*Please avoid canned corn, green beans, and carrots as those are plentiful currently. Praise the Lord for His provisions and for the compassion our church holds for our community!

Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.

Christmas Eve Service

Wed, December 24 @ 5:30 PM

We invite you to join us on Christmas Eve, December 24th at 5:30 PM, as we gather to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. This will be a short and meaningful service, a time for reflection and joy. Please set aside this special time to be together in worship and celebration of the gift of Jesus.

For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. And the government will rest on his shoulders. These will be his royal titles: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6

SPECIAL UPDATE:

India Gospel League

NorthStar committed to partnering with India Gospel League this year to help further God's kingdom in India, and we wanted to provide you with some exciting updates. Your support to NorthStar has richly blessed our reach to India through India Gospel League. Highlights include:

Two lives changed this season:

1. Healing that opened a whole new future

One pastor shared about Kumiben, a woman who had been paralyzed. Her family had spent everything on hospitals and faith healers, and nothing helped. In desperation, they brought her to the church for prayer. The fellowship gathered around her, prayed, and the Lord healed her completely. She surrendered her life to Christ, and today her entire household attends church with her.

2. A family restored

Another report told the story of Shaileshbhai. His home was full of financial strain and conflict, and they had lost hope. After coming for prayer, they began experiencing healing, peace, and steady restoration. The whole family has since given their lives to Christ, and their children are now thriving in school and in the Children’s Gospel Club.

Snapshot from this group of pastors (March–August 2025)

Across their reports, we see:

  • New ministries launched in several unreached villages
  • Families coming to Christ for the first time
  • Children’s Gospel Clubs are growing week by week
  • HOPE Prayer Gatherings are driving openness to the Gospel
  • Powerful testimonies of healing, deliverance, and restored families
  • These numbers and stories reflect only this small group of pastors, not the entire region — but they give a strong sense of the momentum God is building.

Prayer Requests

We would love the opportunity to pray for you and with you. If you have a prayer request, praise report, or a needplease let us know so we can personally and faithfully be praying for you.

Volunteer/Serving Opportunities

As Pastor T's series on spiritual gifts drew to a close, we are encouraged to pursue, engage, and deepen our Godgiven gifts by seeking God's direction to get involved. We are family, and each of us has a taska roll to play, to help advance the kingdom work God has started here at NorthStar.

There is a place for everyone to get involved—and we want to help you find where you can thrive! Whether you're drawn to serve in an area that aligns with your spiritual gifts or simply in a way that brings you joy, we encourage you to take the next step.

Please fill out a Connect Card or reach out to any of our ministry leaders or staff to explore how you can get involved. And if you feel called to lead or serve in a way that isn't currently offered, we want to hear from you!

We're open and excited about all the ways God may be leading us to serve one another—and our broader community—together.

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

Google/Facebook Review

As we are actively trying to reach and invite new friends and family members in need of a Gospel centered church, we are asking for everyone to take a few moments to give NorthStar a 5-Star Google or Facebook (or both) review so that we may be more visible to those who might be searching for a church home, or for those who are searching for something deeper in a relationship with Christ.

What do you love about our church? Why would others want to visit? What brought you here? Share, share! (Thank you!)
